SHAW Care Homes was born from a deeply personal journey shared by a mother-daughter team of Registered Nurses, Wendi and Sydney. When faced with the challenge of finding high-quality, compassionate care for Wendi’s mother — Sydney’s grandmother — they struggled to find a place that offered both the professional expertise and the warmth of a true home. That experience sparked a vision: to create a place where elderly individuals could receive the personalized, specialized care they deserve, in a home-like setting.

With years of combined nursing experience and a passion for serving others, Wendi and Sydney opened SHAW Care Homes to fill that gap. Their mission is to provide dignified, attentive, and individualized care in an environment that feels like family — because for them, it is.
